Isn't she a cutie??? And I get to SIGN for her!!!!!! OMG(oodness) I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have her terrarium all set up (For the most part) and a little table in my room for her big cage and everything! We have a heating lamp, and a water dish, and little food things and thermometers and hydrometers and haha! I'll post a picture of her when I get one taken myself. For all of you lizard haters out there- they don't scurry around and scratch. They're actually pretty lazy for the most part. They like to watch TV! And hang out on your lap and stuff like that. Yesterday I told my friend Cami that I was getting a lizard today and my science teacher heard me and was like "Who said that?" and I was like "I did" and he was like "What type of lizard are you getting?" and I was like "A blue tongue skink." and he was like "Awesome! where are you getting it from?" and I was like "This dude on the internet. He has this whole page and breeds every year and stuff." and he was like "Let's look him up." and then he was like tapping away on his computer and I was like "It's bluetongueskinks.net" and he was like "how big do they get?" and I was like "About this big (Holding up my hands)" and he was like "wow" and then we went to the site and found Button, class was over and we all left. And then people were like "My cousin has a leopard gecko." And I heard that phrase SOOO many times. I was like "That's nice. Leopard gecko's are tiny. Blue tongued skinks get huge." Lol, and they were like "well my cousin's leopard gecko eats crickets. What does a blue tongued skink eat?" And I was like "Cat food!!!!!" which is true. but they also eat sqash, and berries, and leafy greens and an ocassional egg or mealworm. Mom just got home. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh I want Button to be here!!! Well I'm going to go get my room ready. Bye!!!!!!

Sevies and School
Since school started, my two favorite classes have been Science and Honors Oceanogrophy, or Inquiry, as you might call it. The sevies do get one my nerves, but not as much as they could. I get along witha lot of them, like the girl I sit next to in science. We found that we both don't like Y night, a dance at the Y. Some sevies are loud, some are quiet. Some are mean, some are nice. Most of the girls all think they're SO CUTE! and most of the boys think they're soooooooo cool and that IS getting on my nerves. The strange thing is, Zane describes most of the freshman the same way I describe most of the sevies. I wonder if it has something to do with being in the lowest grade at the school. But the one thing that is the most unnerving and annoying is that all of the sevies are rude, and don't respect the teachers or the eighth graders. Looking back, I know that I wasn't like that. They push, and they yell, and they jump and they are completely oblivious to the grumbling they are getting from the eighth graders and the teachers. I do like a few of them, as I said before, but the jumping ones just... ooh...
I am happy this year. I liked last year's teachers better, but I'm perfectly happy with my schedule this year. Thank you for listening to my grumbling about the sevies. =D
